How we do it
The Factory Process
Once the planning and design of the Pod has been agreed, we get to work in the factory. Our highly skilled, hard working team constructs the pod from the ground up.
We are constantly tweaking and improving our design. The pods consist of a timber frame shell (and also sometimes a steel frame design when the case calls for it) providing a robust and long lasting structure, wrapped in two different layers of insulation, providing exceptional thermal performance (far exceeding current building regulations). This has led to a high end, market leading product.
The build process can take as little as two weeks and will rival any traditional build in terms of quality of build.
The Transportation Process
On installation day, the pod is collected from the unit by truck and taken to site. From there, the crane team hook up the pod and ensure that it’s secure.
The crane then lowers the pod into position onto the pre prepared foundations.
The Installation Process
With the pod in place, final installation can begin. The pods come pre fitted with all necessary interior fittings and wiring so our electricians/plumbers simply need to connect to the main energy source and it is ready to use!
The few days after installation are used for making good between the existing property (if there is one) and any final snagging and to ensure the client is 100% satisfied with the service we have provided.
Innovative design
Our product is build with the most cutting edge materials and techniques. All our timber is ethically sourced from sustainable forests and we limit wastage as much as we can in the build process. We utilize a two-stage insulation process to ensure optimum thermal efficiency and our pods are built with such strength that they can be lifted and transported on a truck and crane with no issues.

To boost our insulation values to be in excess of current regulations we fill our walls with 100mm mineral wool. We also do this in partitions, not only to provide even more insulation but also to help soundproofing between walls.

Our roofs are made typically with a warm roof design with superquilt going above the joists and below the firings, with an 18mm tongue and groove OSB above, followed by 100mm PIR insulation and finally 11mm OSB before the EPDM goes on.
-Warm flat roofs create little or no thermal bridging. This ensures there is no unnecessary heat-loss through joints or fixings.
-A warm roof is breathable, allowing moisture out. A breathable roof ensures there is no moisture build up which can lead to fungal or mould growth.
-Warm roofs allows heat to be retained within the property. Warm roofs are simply insulated more efficiently than cold roofs because of the way they are formed.
